                                          Cabin Fever!
Snowy days and cold temperatures might seem like the perfect time for us to cuddle up on the couch. But we can't forget that our animals still need exercise. In extreme temperatures the outdoors might not be the best option. Instead here are some things you can do to keep exercise a part of your pets routine:

Bundle up and take a walk!

Walk time might be shorter than in warmer months so make sure your pet still gets the appropriate amount of exercise from indoor activities. You can even train your dog to walk inside!

                                          Watch out!

When walking in snow your pets paws may collect snowballs. Make sure to check their paws frequently. If your pet no longer wants to put their paws on the ground it's time to go inside.

                                          Take an obedience class.

This is a way for you and your pet to get out of the house but still remain indoors. In an obedience class your pet can learn new tricks and socialize with other dogs. The new environment and atmosphere can provide plenty of exercise and stimulation for any animal.

                                          Teach new tricks!

The Internet and library can provide instructional guides for training. When you teach new tricks it's providing a good amount of mental stimulation.
Look at these to teach your dog how to roll over, wave, or to play dead.
