Dr. Carol Fretz, DVM

Picture

Dr. Carol Fretz is HOPE for Animals primary spay/neuter surgeon, starting with HOPE during it's inception in the early months of 2010.  Graduating from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993, Dr. Fretz has served the Fort Wayne area for most of her career. Being an animal lover and a spay/neuter advocate, Dr. Fretz participated in the development of  Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control's in house sterilization program as early as 1999. Trained in specialty spay/neuter techniques by the Humane Alliance, Dr. Fretz currently averages 30 surgeries a day, but has done as many as 50 in a day! Dr. Fretz shares her home with her husband Mike, their dog Gilly, and several cats.
