Due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak, and to follow social distancing guidelines, we here at H.O.P.E. for Animals are taking additional precautionary measures within the clinic for the safety of our staff, pets and clients.

During this time, our services and hours available may be limited. Please follow our website and Facebook page for regular updates. We kindly ask all of our clients to wait in the car during wellness appointments unless we ask you to accompany due to handling concerns. All wellness appointments are currently curbside.

When you arrive for your wellness appointment:

A number to dial will be posted outside our clinic. Please call that number when you arrive to let us know you are here. The doors to the clinic will be closed.

Please remain in your vehicle with your animal.

Care professionals will discuss your needs by phone when you arrive. At the end of the phone conversation, a care professional will come to the parking lot to bring your animal into the building for exam and evaluation.

After the medical team evaluates your animal, you will receive a phone call to discuss recommendations and a plan moving forward.

Verbal consent for treatment and details surrounding financial estimates will be authorized via this phone call. Shortly thereafter, you will receive a phone call from a customer service representative to obtain payment over the phone. Credit card or Care Credit are preferred.

Once the care of your animal is complete, the discharge process will be discussed, and any remaining balance will be collected before the discharge of your animal from the clinic.

It is important to note that there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 within the clinic. Thank you for your care and concern during this uncertain time.

H.O.P.E. for Animals is proud to offer low-cost animal care. However, our wellness clinic is not a replacement for a relationship with a full service veterinarian. For the long term health and happiness of your pet, we recommend regular visits to a full service veterinarian whenever possible. Need a full-service veterinarian?

Now accepting patients that are not spayed/neutered for  wellness visits – some restrictions apply.

Pets under 1 year may visit the clinic for their full rounds of vaccines while still being unaltered, patients that are over 1 year of age will only be permitted to visit the clinic one time, unless the pet is then spayed/neutered. For unaltered pets over 1 year of age the office exam fee is $30, however, $15 of this exam fee can be applied as a discount towards spay/neuter surgery in the H.O.P.E. Clinic valid if used within 6 months of your initial visit.
We do not see sick, injured or chronically ill animals.

A Wellness exam is required for any service in the Wellness Clinic.

Now offering online Wellness appointments!

Do you need wellness products that don’t require an appointment, such as flea preventatives? If your pet has been seen in the clinic within the last year, you can email us at preventionsales@hfafw.org by 12:20 pm for same day pick-up. For faster service we recommend you pick-up your order between 10 am – 3pm.

We accept the following forms of payment:   Cash, Debit, Care Credit, and Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Credit Cards        NO Checks will be accepted for clinic services.
